Raketa – Web & CanSat System for Aerospace Competition

Raketa was a multidisciplinary academic project developed to compete in the ALA CanSat aerospace challenge. The project consisted of both a public-facing website and a fully functional satellite probe designed to transmit data during launch and descent.

My responsibilities included the full development of the Raketa website and, more critically, the embedded software and systems integration of the CanSat. I created telemetry systems to capture sensor data, structured the internal logic for event-based behavior, and engineered the communication protocol between the CanSat and ground servers for live tracking and analysis.

Additionally, I collaborated with teammates to ensure system compatibility across microcontrollers, optimized power and memory usage, and simulated various deployment scenarios to refine performance in real-world launch conditions.

Raketa taught me how to apply theory in high-stakes engineering scenarios, working under pressure to make systems reliable, smart, and efficient. It was one of the most enriching technical experiences I’ve ever had.
